The Legacy Trail is currently a 12.5 mile trail system that has rest areas, bathrooms and beautiful scenery along the way. The closest parking area from the Resort is at the Nokomis Community Center about 7 min away. The Community Center also has a playground and restrooms available for public use.
You can rent bicycles from Florida Bike and Beach and they not only deliver it right to your bungalow, but also fit you to the right size!

Oscar Scherer State Park Google Map Pet Friendly Cost: $
Just eight minutes away, this nearby state park has hiking trails, playground, canoe/kayak launch, restrooms and so much more. It's perfect for a day trip or for camping. Some highlights include hiking through the scrub in search of scrub jays or gopher tortoises, swimming in their lake with beachy sand entrance, or kayaking along the waterways.
